Delaware Association for the Education of Young Children (DAEYC) and the Delaware Head Start Association (DHSA) will hold the 6th Annual Making A Difference Conference on Friday, March 31 & Saturday, April 1, 2017. This conference for Early Childhood Professionals will be held at Delaware Technical Community College, Terri Campus, in Dover.
We are excited to announce that this year’s MADC will continue Building the Foundation for Early Success. What children learn between birth and the time they start kindergarten lays the foundation for their learning and development for years to come. For children to reach their full potential during these early years, adults around them must provide experiences and environments that promote learning and growth. That is where your knowledge and expertise comes in.
We are seeking qualified presenters to share their knowledge in a 1 hour 30 minute training session. The goal of the Making A Difference Conference is always to address the diverse training needs of the early childhood community. We welcome presentations in a wide variety of topics and focus areas. Attached you will find a list of topics that participants requested from the 2016 conference evaluations to help guide your topic selection. We invite you to submit your proposal for an engaging workshop at the 2017 conference. Feel free to share this proposal with colleagues and acquaintances in the field of early childhood education.
Presenters will receive a ‘thank you’ gift and have the opportunity to display their business cards during the conference. Complimentary continental breakfast and lunch will be provided on the day presenters offer their workshop.
Proposals are due November 15, 2016. Diane Frentzel, Conference Coordinator will make contact regarding all proposals. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Diane at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 302.547.2984. Thank you for your continued support of DHSA and DAEYC.
