Our hearts go out to all who have been infected by COVID-19 and those whose lives have been disrupted by this pandemic.  We are particularly concerned about the significant impacts this public health crisis is likely to have on our nation's child care and early learning programs, including educators, families, and children.

DSCYF  Resources

Additionally, all providers must have a written plan that addresses the child care program’s prevention and response to COVID-19. DSCYF has developed sample plan (COVID-19 Child Care Plan Template- Click here) that providers may utilize to satisfy this requirement. This plan includes the Phase 2 requirements developed by OCCL and the Division of Public Health and other practices recommended by public health officials.

Providers can create their own plan but it must include the Phase 2 requirements. The plan does not need to be submitted to OCCL but it must be kept on the premises of the facility or home and made available upon request.
