Kim Pridemore, Director of the Child Development Center, Del Tech’s Dover Campus
Kim Pridemore has been in the field of early childhood education for 20 years. As the Director of the Child Development Center at Del Tech’s Dover campus since 2002, she consistently upholds high standards and adheres to a philosophy of continuous quality improvement, all while keeping a sense of humor and an “open mind.” Kim and the Child Development Center were part of the initial Delaware Stars pilot in 2007, and she adeptly guided the program to reach a Star Level 5 rating.
Kim has been extremely involved in DAEYC as a board member for eight years and served as president of the DAEYC Board from 2013 to the present. She is a former recipient of DAEYC’s Roxanne Benatti Award for Professional Excellence. Additionally, Kim is the outgoing president of the Kent County Child Care Directors Association, having served in that role for the past 10 years. Through her leadership, collaboration and initiative, Kim Pridemore is an inspiration to others in the field of early childhood education.
